Cooperation/Citizenship

DIRECTIONS (follow carefully):
*Put a header at the top of your Word document.  Include your name, period, and date in the header. Thanks for doing a great job with this so far!
*Include the title under your header with a font size between 18 and 28 (in this case, your title should be "
Cooperation/Citizenship").
*You
must use at least two of the five prompts below to complete your writing:

       1) Provide your own personal definition of cooperation and/or citizenship.  You may use the ideas provided above (in orange) or on the poster in this classroom, but be sure to use your own words and style.

   2) Explain what
cooperation and/or citizenship means to you (why is it important, what would Milbank and/or our school be like without it?).

  3) Describe two or three real-life or possible real-life situations that serve as an example of the value (tell what happens or happened).

  4) How do others (someone you know...famous athlete or actress, family member, friend, etc.) show this value?  How do you demonstrate
cooperation and/or citizenship to others?

  5) What can you do or change in order to make this value more present in your life?

*Your writing should be at least two strong paragraphs (this is NOT to be very long; maximum font size limit is 14).
*I am going to grade on how well you have PROOFREAD this paper.  If you have lots of little mistakes, your grade will be very low.  This is one paper that you should have a friend or teacher read (to find mistakes) before printing!

*This is to be printed and turned in on or before Wednesday, November 24.  It can also be written on paper.
*We will be doing six more of these writings after November is finished.
*These writings are worth 20 quiz points each!  Take your time and do them correctly!!
